Neck Pain

Many individuals suffer from neck pain throughout their lives. There are many causes, most of which are biomechanical dysfunctions along with soft tissue strains.

Some of the reasons why our necks are susceptible to injury are poor posture, sleeping patterns and excessive sitting in our daily lives. The neck region contains many delicate, pain sensitive structures commonly exposed to the above abuse and abnormal stresses. Furthermore inadequate rehabilitation of past injuries develops long term chronic issues.

Fortunately, most individuals suffering from neck problems will find chiropractic care extremely beneficial. Unlike prescription drugs, most chiropractic procedures address the cause of the majority of neck problems, not simply the symptoms. Best of all, chiropractic care is safe, natural and noninvasive.

A critical survey reviewed 25+ years of published literature and concluded:

The most effective care for patients with neck pain would be manual therapies (mobilization, manipulation and massage) over alternative strategies.
